Richard L. "Dick" Cowan, 72, Denver, formerly of Goodland, KS, died Sunday, Sep 19, 2004. Mr. Cowan was born June 13, l932. He operated Professional Painters and Decorators in Colorado for 42 years.

Survivors include his wife, Jean; four children, David and wife Gail of Denver, Terry Evans of Westminster, Trinia Daniel and husband Dwain of Dallas and Dan and wife Shirley of Littleton; two brothers, Robert of Littleton and Lowell of Goodland; a sister Shirley Todd of Council Bluffs, Iowa; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held in Denver, CO on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Church at 72nd and Wadsworth.

A service will also be held at 2 pm Mountain time Friday, September 24, 2004 at Bateman Funeral Home, 11th & Broadway, Goodland. Internment will be in Goodland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to MDS/Leukemia Foundation in care of the funeral home, P.O.Box 278, Goodland 67735.

COWAN, RICHARD L. (DICK) -Passed away September 19, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife Jean and four children: David and wife Gail, Terry Evans, Trina and husband Dwain, Dan and wife Shirley; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

-Funeral Services to be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Church at 72nd and Wadsworth. Family requests that in lieu of flowers make donations to The Leukemia Foundation. Donation envelopes available at the service.
